好友淑宜來美國找我玩,一起去吃了好幾家餐廳。先到這家一位德國實習生推薦的巴西小餐廳。外面露天看起來還不錯,可是晚上還是太涼了,室內還開暖氣!
While we were waiting for the food, the entries next table were ready. Their grill chicken smelled so good and we were so looking forward to our entrée - grill Red Snapper.
點完菜在等時,隔壁桌的烤雞胸肉上桌,好香呀!真期待我們點的 Red Snapper (中文應該是紅鯛吧)
We ordered two appetizers: the top right one was Coxinha – it’s a deep fried chicken leg. The bottom one was Pasteis; it’s a Brazilian style Empanada, stuffed with cheese and beef. I kinda liked it. And the salsa tasted fresh!
開胃菜點了兩道,圖片右上角的是炸雞 (Coxinha),有點失望,跟臺灣的很不一樣;下面這份是 Pasteis,不會翻譯了,有點像是餅皮包牛肉跟起司,(可單選牛肉或起司),這個還不錯,左上角的 salsa 新鮮夠味。
The Red Snapper smelled really good. However, Kelly prefers heavy-flavored food so she thought the seasoning was not enough. Indeed, it could use some salt or black pepper. The fried plantain was great.
紅鯛上桌,真得好香呀!可是嘗起來沒什麼味道,淑宜又是偏向重口味,覺得鹽或胡椒粉加得不夠,不夠鹹。中間上方深褐色的是煎香蕉,還滿好吃得!
My favorite was the sugar stick (not sure how it’s called) – so nice with the Brazilian coffee. I just liked the crystal-like texture.
我最喜歡的是巴西咖啡的糖棒,聽說不便宜,喜歡它水晶半透明的樣子。
Our conclusion was that a little bit more seasoning would be great.
結論就是,香歸香,調味料得再加一點。
